BF 1943 Release Date Announced!!! - 07-02-2009, 11:29 AM
The OFFICIAL release date has finally been announced to the public. The long wait is almost over BF fans! EA has announced that Battlefield 1943 will be released on the 8th of July 2009 for the Xbox 360 and the 9th of July for the PS3 (haha sucks for Sony Lovers :-P).
I Can't wait to start tearing it up on live BF style. I will see you guys on the battlefield. NazTfox out...

Remember though, the game will sell for 1200 Microsoft Points or $14.99 USD. So start saving up those points!

I hope they calm down with the FPS, they're not much of an "Arcade" genre, this and upcoming PerfectDark that's 3 FPS relatively close to each other, I dont want FPS taking over arcade, I still enjoy games like Defender and Geometry Wars

Yes it is. It is taking forever to get into a game since they dont have enough servers and when you do get into a game you drop halfway through. The 10min I spent racking up 25 kills in my tank was awesome. Woo Hoo.

Well I played for about 3 hours. I got all of the achievements except 3. I think the hardest achievement is going to be milkrun lol. I can't stay flying for 10 min with everyone shootin at me!

I fully intended to check it out last night but after playing the tutorial and not really liking the control layout I finally gave up after 15 minutes of not being able to get in a match.
